What is Asakusa KAGUWA?
KAGUWA is a Japanese entertainment troupe that originated in Roppongi in 2004.
Featuring iconic characters of Japanese culture—oiran courtesans, geisha, samurai, and ninja—KAGUWA presents non-verbal performances that blend traditional dance, modern choreography, swordplay, acrobatics, theater, and music.
Their stage productions combine the elegance of tradition with modern artistic flair, creating a "Tradition × Innovation" experience that has captivated international visitors and earned long-lasting support from Japanese fans alike.
In January 2024, KAGUWA opened its permanent theater, Asakusa KAGUWA, in the historic district of Asakusa.
Shows are held twice a day from Wednesday to Sunday.
