Erika Ishibashi
(Erika Ishibashi)

Born in Tokyo in 2000. She studied under Jido Fujii from the age of 9 after participating in a trial class organized by the Setagaya Sankyoku Kyokai.

After attending the Music High School attached to the Faculty of Music of Tokyo University of the Arts, she graduated from the Department of Traditional Japanese Music, Faculty of Music of Tokyo University of the Arts in 2023.

While a student, he studied the Kinko-ryu under Suzumo Aoki, Koumunei Takemura, and Yosuke Kawase, and the Miyama-ryu under Mineyama Nomura and Dozan Fujiwara.

During his undergraduate studies, he received the Ataka Prize, the Ryohei Miyata Scholarship, the Doseikai Prize, and the Acanthus Music Prize.

He also performed in the "2022 Music School Graduates' Concert" held at the Imperial Palace's Momoka Gakudo Hall.

In 2025, he graduated from the Graduate School of Music of the University of Tokyo with a major in traditional Japanese music.

Appeared on NHK-FM's "Hogaku Hyakuban.

Member of Nihon Sankyoku Kyokai, Kinkoryu Kyokai, Setagaya Sankyoku Kyokai, and Doseikai. Member of "Yui no Kai".
