MITSUYOSHI SASAKI

Born in Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture.

Influenced by his grandparents, he started learning Tsugaru shamisen at the age of 5. 16 years old, he studied Tsugaru folk songs and accompaniment under Fukushi Toyoaki and Narita Unchikujo 2nd generation. Studied singing under Kiyomi Ishikawa. In 2023, she assumed the name of the second iemoto of the Tsugaru shamisen school, Sasaki Kogi School. He changed his real name from Ayaka Takamori to Mitsugi Sasaki II. He performs at the min'yo bar "Wanoie Oiwake" and also performs in many other places.
