Shinsui-ren

Shinsui-ren wears costumes based on the vivid indigo blue of Awa-ai (traditional indigo dye) from Tokushima, the birthplace of Awa Odori. Our performances are built around three themes: the vibrant rhythms of the musical ensemble, the graceful women’s dance that blooms like a flower, and the stylish yet harmonized men’s dance.

While rooted in the essence of Awa Odori through the traditional zomeki rhythm that embodies iki (refined elegance), our originality shines through in the innovative incorporation of unique music and choreography.
