On November 3 (Culture Day), "TEPPEN," a street battle to determine who is the real "badass" of skateboarding, will be held in Asakusa, one of Tokyo's most popular cultural spots since long ago.
A unique special section created from the ideas of real skateboarders will appear on the streets of Asakusa for one day only.
A total of 39 people, including 33 invited top riders, 3 winners of SNS qualifiers, and 3 winners of same-day qualifiers, will compete on 3 battle stages in the main competition to determine the true The true No. 1 street skater will be decided.

TEPPEN 2023 IN ASAKUSA Event Summary

Date: November 3, 2023 (Friday, national holiday)

 (*Postponed to November 4, 5, 11, and 12 in case of rain)

Location: Asakusa Roku-ku Broadway (North 1 Area)

Admission: Free

Time Schedule

10:30- Registration for the day's qualifying rounds begins.

11:00- Practice time

12:00- Preliminary round (STAGE 0) 12 years old and under

12:30- Preliminary Round (STAGE 0) 13 years old and up

13:00- Practice time (only for contestants of the main event)

14:00- Main competition (STAGE 1-3)

17:00- Best Trick Contest

18:00- After Party

21:00- Event ends

Same-day qualifying (STAGE 0): Entry fee free

10:30- Registration at the DC tent on the north side

The three winners selected in STAGE 0 will advance to the main competition (STAGE 1-3)

*The number of participants may be limited depending on the number of entries on the day of the competition (first-come-first-served basis).

*Helmets must be worn by those 12 years old and under. 13 years old and over are responsible for their own safety.

*Ages 13 and older are eligible to compete in the Best Trick Contest.

*Authorization from a parent or guardian is required for all riders under the age of 18.

■Contest Details:

Jam session contest will be held on 3 special stages with 33 invited top skaters and 6 general qualifiers (3 SNS qualifiers & 3 qualifiers on the day). The best skater will be awarded for each stage.

(*The number of invited skaters may vary.)

■Prizes: Main competition & Best Trick Contest with

Freestyle distribution format by judges (500,000 yen)

& STAGE winners of each main competition (100,000 yen each)
